Debbie has been a dedicated visual art educator with a Master of Education in Creative Arts from the University of Technology Sydney, along with a Graduate Certificate in Children’s Art and a Diploma of Teaching with a Visual Art Major. With extensive experience as both a classroom and art teacher, she is passionate about nurturing creativity in young children and highlighting its long-term benefits. Debbie has contributed to notable institutions such as Art Gallery NSW and Sydney Biennale, serving as a critical friend and educational consultant. Her commitment to arts advocacy is further recognized her 2018 St George Community Award for outstanding service at the St George Creative Arts and Craft Centre.
